Allen Durham is an Executive Vice President with Hunt Insurance Group, LLC located in Tallahassee, FL. Hunt Insurance Group specializes in the development and administration of Self Insurance Fund and Association based insurance programs for various entities located throughout the southeastern United States. Throughout its over 40 year history, Hunt Insurance Group has developed international recognition for its exceptional risk management and self insurance fund administration capabilities.

Prior to joining Hunt Insurance Group in September 2007, Allen was a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager (Dallas office) for Benfield, Inc., one of the largest reinsurance intermediaries in the world. Throughout his reinsurance and insurance career, Allen has also held positions with Willis Re, E.W. Blanch Co., Transamerica and worked as a consultant with American Insurance Marketing Corporation.

Allen holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance degree from the Florida State University College of Business. In addition, he also holds the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations from the Insurance Institute of America. He currently serves on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee for the Florida State University College of Business, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Florida State University National Alumni Association, the Seminole Boosters Inner Council and as the Director for the Renegade Team at Florida State University.
