Mentoring is a "Golden Opportunity" to make a difference!No student's education is complete without a solid grounding in how business works beyond the classroom. Mentor Programs provide an essential link between academic theory and business reality, and offer personal and professional benefits to every participant. The College of Business Student Leadership Council developed and currently manages the Golden Opportunities Mentorship Program for the Florida State University College of Business. How does Mentoring work?
Mentors stand to become more educated on issues in higher education by learning about the challenges facing college students today. Mentors can provide their students with insights from their own experience and advice on best practices in applying the skills they are mastering in college, as well as valuable assistance and advice for their career path. Goals for Mentors include but are not limited to:
