Spencer joined the College of Business as Director of Development in May 2001
and was promoted in 2003 to Assistant Dean. From 1998 until his appointment
with the College of Business, he served as Director of Special Gifts for the
FSU Foundation, where he worked with colleges and schools, including the College
of Business, with their development efforts. Prior to joining FSU, Spencer served as
Manager of Planned Giving at the National Home Office of the American Cancer
Society in Atlanta and Director of Planned/Major Gifts for Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. Spencer has over 20 years of experience in higher education, development and fundraising.
Spencer holds a Master of Education from Brenau University and a Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Georgia.
