Scholarships

There are numerous scholarship opportunities through Florida State University, the College of Business, and the Dedman School of Hospitality. Each semester students are notified of the scholarships and their deadlines. Scholarships can range anywhere from a couple of hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. The awards are based on a list of criteria that the applicants must meet. Some of the Dedman School of Hospitality scholarships include:

  • The Dedman School of Hospitality Student Scholarship
  • The PGA of America Diversity Scholarship
  • The Association of Golf Merchandisers Scholarship Fund
  • The American Hotel and Lodging Educational Foundation Cecil B. Day Fund
  • The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Scholarships
  • The Jay Abraham Scholarship
  • The Tampa Bay Hospitality Alliance Scholarship

PGM Fees

First Year - Payment required in September of freshman year $1,300
Fee includes:
  • Level 1 Books and Materials
  • Player Development
  • FSU licensed PGM Golf Bag
  • PGM Golf Shirt
  • Golf Course Membership
  • PGM Range Fee
  • Other PGM Expenses
  • PGM Club Dues
Second Year - Payment required in September of sophomore year $1,750
Fee includes:
  • Level 1 Checkpoint Fees
  • Level 2 Seminars, Books and Materials
  • Player Development
  • PGM Golf Shirt
  • PGM Range Fee
  • Golf Course Membership
  • PGM Club Dues
  • Other PGM Expenses
Third Year - Payment required in September of junior year $1,750
Fee includes:
  • Level 2 Checkpoint
  • Level 3 Seminars, Books and Materials
  • Player Development
  • PGM Golf Shirt
  • PGM Range Fee*
  • Golf Course Membership*
  • PGM Club Dues
  • Other PGM Expenses
Senior Year** - Payment required in September of senior year $550
** (Level 3 Checkpoint is at Port St Lucie, the cost of $1,600 is paid by each student direct to the PGA, this fee includes Final Experience, airfare, lodging and meals.)

5th Year Seniors $0.00
On final internship

These prices are estimates based on the latest information from the PGA & FSU, are non refundable and subject to change.

* Junior and Senior students who have passed the PAT are not required to pay for golf course membership or range fee. Their fees will be reduced as such.
