Funding Initiatives
Management Ph.D. Program in Excellence
This initiative is central to enhancing our doctoral programs in management. All donations to this initiative are restricted to supporting our current doctoral students in their dissertation research, travel, data acquisition, and job search and through stipend supplements. Quality doctoral education is important to the goals and reputation of our department and the future of business education in this time of critical shortages in well-trained Ph.D.s. To contribute, designate your online gift to fund #0991, the Management Department, or contact Bruce Lamont, blamont@cob.fsu.edu
Bowden Center for Ethical Leadership
This College of Business initiative is coordinated by the Management Department. Florida State University College of Business recognizes the need and tremendous importance of integrity based leadership in our society. Our vision is to become the highest ranked leadership center within a public university. We intend to utilize and transfer the strong ethical leadership and management foundation that Coach Bowden has established in collegiate football to current and future leaders in all walks of life. Additionally we will provide financial support to similar organizations or programs, and fund academic research related to integrity based leadership studies. Goal: $20 million. To contribute to this initiative, contact Jill Ashton, jcashton@cob.fsu.edu, or Bruce Lamont, blamont@cob.fsu.edu.
