National Solutions Inc. (NSI), a consulting marketing firm in the yellow pages market, is currently looking for a full time sales manager. Clients include yellow page directory publishers both domestically and internationally. As a liaison between the advertising agency and publisher, we create yellow page advertising programs for national clients across the country.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for generating new business both for the company and for our clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Recruit new clients from trade association conventions, client visits/meetings, leads, cold calling, etc.
2. Ability to increase revenue for our clients, therefore increasing revenue for the company.
3. Peek interest and secure advertising placement with interested advertising agencies and their national clients; keeps publisher reps informed of leads for proposal generation.
4. Assist in creating advertising programs with publisher reps for national clients across the country.
5. Assist in a review of the market to determine customer (both NSI clients and national clients) needs and sales volume potential that will meet company goals.
6. Prepare and conduct presentations to potential new clients and to advertising agencies.
7. Keep publisher reps informed of updates/changes in the industry
8. Train publisher reps on sales essentials
9. Represent company at trade association conventions and meetings to promote business and new clients.
10. Determine, keep track and facilitate sales department budget.
11. Participates as needed in special department projects.
12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Preferred Skills: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to negotiate and increase revenue effectively.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and manner.
• Computer literacy, specifically MS Office for Windows.
• Working knowledge of standard office equipment including, computer, copier, fax, postage machine, multi-line telephone, etc.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and equivalent sales/marketing experience.
• At least four years of previous sales experience.
• At least two years of previous management experience.
CONDITIONS OF WORK:
• Ability to lift approximately 15-20 lbs.
• Mostly Sedentary.
• Travel required
