MIS ONLINE PROGRAM

NOW ACCEPTING STUDENTS IN FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS.

We're educating our students to distribute their IT management skills worldwide.

As an IT professional, you work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. You've probably already experienced the feeling that the technology skills that once set you apart from other business professionals are no longer unique. They may even be outdated.

Or, maybe you've climbed the technical career ladder and now manage teams of IT professionals. Your technical background allows you to direct and lead these teams, but your supervisors are expecting ever greater business-oriented justification for your decisions. Your analysis, design and implementation skills are little help in preparing a presentation to the executive board of your organization.

Designed with the input of IT professionals like you, the online MS in MIS consists of eleven three-hour courses that will update your technical skills and business knowledge. All students complete a set of "MIS core classes" that covers topics such as project management, management of technology, knowledge management and business intelligence, electronic business, and social and organizational issues related to information systems. The remaining four courses are selected from MIS courses that may be offered or from the MBA curriculum.

And here's the good news: You will take these courses without leaving your job or relocating to Tallahassee. Unlike other online programs, you receive the same material from the same professors teaching on-campus courses. You do the same work. Your degree is exactly the same as an on-campus degree. You can complete the degree in two calendar years by taking two courses per semester.

Admission into the MS in MIS program occurs in the fall or spring semester.

The program is designed so that a typical student can complete the degree in 24 months by taking two online courses each semester. APPLY NOW
