FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS DEAN NAMED VICE CHAIR OF AACSB MAINTENANCE OF ACCREDITATION COMMITTEE Contact: John Polis
813-769-6516 Caryn Beck-Dudley, dean of the College of Business at Florida State University, has been appointed vice chair of the Maintenance of Accreditation Committee of AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Founded in 1916, AACSB, which accredits 528 business schools in 30 nations, celebrates its 90th anniversary during the 2006-2007 academic year. As vice chair of the Maintenance of Accreditation Committee, she provides leadership to the committee that oversees the five-year maintenance of review of AACSB-accredited business schools. The review is a key component of the ongoing continuous improvement process required by AACSB standards. "We are fortunate to have Dean Beck-Dudley as vice chair of our Maintenance of Accreditation Committee and look forward to her contributions in the coming year," said Jerry Trapnell, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International.
