COB faculty to teach golf management program in Florida State University's College of Business faculty are part of the newest offering in the Club Managers Association of America's (CMAA) Business Management Institute (BMI). Debuting April 28 through May 3, 2007, the BMI Golf Management course will be held at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine, FL. The 5-day program will feature faculty from Florida State University's College of Business and instructors from the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) of America and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), and will cover the skills and knowledge required to be successful at golf management in a private club setting. In addition to five full days of instruction, the program also offers exceptional social and networking experiences to include local club tours, evening events and the opportunity to play the resort's two championship courses designed by legends Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Program participants are also encouraged to experience the World Golf Hall of Fame, located on-site in the World Golf Village.
