Michael Pou

Mike Pou has developed over fifty properties in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Mississippi as managing general partner or active limited partner. These have included shopping centers, office buildings, senior housing and other residential properties.
He is currently remodeling a 75,000 s.f. shopping center in North Buckhead, Atlanta, developing three other properties in the North Atlanta suburbs, and in the planning stages of a condominium property on the Chattahoochee River north of Helen in North Georgia.
In the 1980’s he was a vice president of Merrill Lynch Commercial Real Estate, heading a department that handled acquisitions for bank sponsored commingled funds for pension clients, Bank clients of his department included Sun Banks of Florida, Third National Bank of Nashville ( both SunTrust), United Virginia Bank, Lloyd’s Bank California and Rhode Island Hospital Trust among others.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch he was vice president of The Landmarks Group in Atlanta and was project manager on the IBM office buildings in Atlanta, Jacksonville, FL, and Knoxville, TN, and the NCR and Xerox office buildings in Atlanta.
Mike graduated from Winter Park (Florida) High School and Florida State University where he was vice president of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He has served on the board of directors of the FSU Alumni Association and Seminole Boosters, Inc.
After graduating from FSU he served in the U.S. Army as a company commander in the First Cavalry Division stationed in Korea.
