Tim Laney, President of the Bank America Florida, is also responsible
for all commercial banking in the southeastern United States. In
his role as President, he is responsible for all banking activities
in the state that includes oversight of more than 18,000 Florida
associates and accountability for a statewide delivery network of
more than 740 banking center locations and 1,300 ATMs.
In Mr. Laney's commercial executive role, he oversees lending,
treasury and investment banking activities for middle market companies
based in the southeastern United States.
A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Mr. Laney joined Bank of America
in 1983 after graduating from Florida State University. In his 19
years with the company, he has worked in a variety of roles in Corporate
Banking, Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Strategic Technology,
Change Management, Corporate Marketing and the Wealth Management
Group.
