Sink recently retired from Bank of America-Florida, where she served as president
since 1993. In 1974, Sink joined NationsBank in Charlotte. After a three-year
assignment in New York City in the early 1980s, she transferred to Florida to
become the Miami-area executive in 1984. In 1989, she became the Tampa Bay Region
Consumer banking executive. She was promoted to executive vice president in 1993,
the same year that she became president of NationsBank-Florida. After a brief
assignment as president of the NationsBank Private Client Group in 1998, she
was again named as president of the Florida Bank. Sink currently serves on the
boards of the Florida Council of 100, Florida Chamber of Commerce, and the University
of South Florida Foundation. She is chair-elect of Florida TaxWatch and a vice-chair
of the board of trustees of Wake Forest University, where she received her B.S.
(Magna Cum Laude) in Mathematics. Sink was also elected to the board of Sykes
Enterprises Inc., a publicly traded company in the information technology industry,
and she is a member of the Alliance for World Class Education in Jacksonville,
Florida.
