About UsWho we are and what we do: We introduce students to various business and resort hotels in the major cities of the Southeast, build networking contacts for students at highly respected hotels and resorts, and introduce students to a real life hotel work environment. Our organization introduces Dedman School of Hospitality students with various interests in front desk operations, sales, finance, event planning, and food and beverage to careers in a five diamond hotel work environment through the use of job shadowing trips. On these trips, students meet with hotel managers to experience the roles, tasks, and functions of department managers at the property first hand. Students gain a personal insight into what a career in various departments would entail, and use the opportunity to network with leading hospitality executives. Membership Requirements: Be a registered Hospitality major, pay membership dues, and purchase a nametag. Dues: $50/yr or $35/semester and $15 for Hospitality Department Nametag The Florida Lodging Association is a registered student organization of FSU.
