"Lunch with a Rotarian"

The "Lunch with a Rotarian" program, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tallahassee, is designed to give College of Business juniors, seniors, and graduate students the unique opportunity to network with local professionals in their fields of interest and for career exploration with no strings attached. The Rotary Club of Tallahassee consists of 250 leaders from all professional backgrounds including law, banking, actuarial science, health care, accounting, and marketing. This program is designed to link students with community leaders in hopes of initiating lasting networks and friendships. Several valuable opportunities have developed from program pairings in the past, including job and internship opportunities with local businesses.

If selected to participate in the Lunch with a Rotarian Program, Dr. Lori McCall, Rotary Club liaison, will transport students to and from the Tallahassee Civic Center to attend the Rotary Club meeting. Here, students will have a chance to network with the Rotarian of their choice, and will enjoy a buffet style lunch compliments of the Rotary Club of Tallahassee. Other Rotary meetings occur throughout the week, so let us SLC know if you cannot make Wednesdays, and we will try to accommodate you.

The Lunch with a Rotarian program is only available to juniors and seniors, and graduate students. Due to the volume of applications, we will only accept applications for a limited time frame during the semester. Resumes must be critiqued and approved by a faculty member or Career Center advisor.
